Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Procurement Assistant in Green Bay, WI to support the organization’s shop network from a vendor relationship and supply chain management perspective. The Procurement Assistant will analyze invoices that are rejected for payment and review daily orders to confirm the successful transmission to vendors. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review invoices for incorrect billing dates and quantities and take the appropriate actions to ensure they are paid in a timely manner. 
  • Monitor daily orders to ensure they are successfully processed. 
  • Ensure suppliers are correctly established within the inventory management system. 
  • Monitor backorder reports and assist others in identifying alternate sources for out-of-stock parts. 
  • Maintain accurate pricing and part number information in the system. 
  • Set up blanket purchase orders for vendors. 

Skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of accounts payable, accounts receivable or corporate accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Familiar with Oracle-based accounting systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
