Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Compliance Specialist in Green Bay to provide day-to-day hiring process support to Recruiting Specialists and Recruiters. The Compliance Specialist will ensure Schneider stays compliant with the Federal and State Departments of Transportation. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a working knowledge of DOT regulations. 
  • Review truck driver candidate qualification files. 
  • Review criminal background records, motor vehicle records, employment history records and other records to ensure candidates meet Schneider’s criteria. 
  • Utilize a verification program to validate candidates’ records. 
  • Continually update Schneider’s candidate tracking system. 
  • Communicate findings with Recruiting Specialists, Recruiters and leadership. 
  • Train new members of the compliance team.

Skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
