Schneider is seeking a Senior Shop Manager in Edwardsville, IL to join our talented team! You will be responsible for the successful management of the company shop. All actions will be in support of increasing line of business satisfaction, lowering the cost of repairs, and increasing equipment availability. This includes the development and execution of long and short-range goals, action plans, and effective leadership of the shop associates.

About the role:

  • Accountable for all maintenance costs, equipment availability, and repair decisions for fleet units
  • Responsible for shop usage of parts
  • Reinforce and demonstrate Schneiders core values and in so doing, support Schneiders Union Free philosophy
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • Associate degree in software development or technical field related to the focus of the role
  • Minimum of four years experience in related roles
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
