Schneider is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join our thriving team! You will provide support, leadership and coaching to a commercial sales team. The expectation is that about 50% of the time will be dedicated to skill building and coaching your sales team. This may include but is not limited to: 

  • Sales Support and Development
  • Customer Service
  • Pricing
  • Operations
  • Business Support
  • Contract Administration
  • Sales Compensation Administration
  • Marketing 
  • New and/or Existing Accounts. 

This position is responsible for the performance of an assigned region/territory or mode of transportation including volume generation, revenue and profitability. Additional key duties include integrating within the organization to effectively meet market needs in support of the enterprise.

About the role:

  • Serve as an active member of the commercial leadership team, provide feedback, communicate key issues to team, and provide peer coaching.
  • Deliver needed results including profitability, revenue generation, asset utilization, loaded ratio.
  • Collaboration with Pricing, Operations, Network and Customer Service to ensure flawless execution of the deal.
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values.

Skills and qualifications 

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience. Master degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six years relevant work experience preferred. 
  • Travel 30-50% of time
  • Valid driver's license and meet Schneider's DMV record standards
