Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Business Support Team Leader in Green Bay to lead a team of associates who work with outside carriers on tasks involving payments, rates and claims. The Business Support Team Leader will also work directly with carriers to understand their operational, tactical and strategic needs and assist with payment issues. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of supply chain associates. 
  • Identify the root cause of payment issues and lead changes to improve efficiency. 
  • Develop strong working relationships with teams in operations and customer service to ensure excellent business results, processes and communication. 
  • Have a strong knowledge of customers’ contracts, rates and standard operating procedures.  
  • Perform system and process audits to ensure data integrity. 
  • Be involved in new business start-ups to act as a subject matter expert on payments, rates and claims processes. 
  • Manage carrier and customer cargo claims. 

Skills and qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, transportation or a related field. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous supply chain experience. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent leadership skills.
