Schneider is seeking a Data Scientist in Green Bay WI to design, build, maintain and improve new and existing analytics solutions. The Data Scientist will focus on developing practical solutions to help customers meet their objectives. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare proposals, non-technical reports, statements of work, project logs and presentations. 
  • Identify data sources and prepare data. 
  • Collaborate with more senior data scientists and engineers. 
  • Document and implement analytical models to deliver actionable business insights and decision support. 
  • Create statistics models and technical approaches for business issues. 

Skills and qualifications:  

  • Master degree or PhD in data science, computer science, information systems, mathematics or related field. 
  • Two to four years of relevant work experience. 
  • Able to build effective business relationships with customers and other associates. 
  • Knowledge of statistics modeling, solution techniques and tools. 
  • Able to understand the uses and limitations of statistical methodologies such as time-series forecasting, logistic regression, random forests, k-means clustering, Bayesian methods and machine learning. 
  • Able to learn and utilize statistical programming languages and tools such as R, SAS, Python SQL, SPSS and Tableau. 
  • Able to effectively communicate technical information and concepts to non-technical audiences.
